feliz dia de cariño/happy valentines day

so they do celebrate valentine's day here. which i find amazing the reach that american commercialization has. i wonder if it's the same comercialization that allows me to hear terrible american music here and there. i got my girlfriend chocolate, a pot and some flower seeds. unbelievably clever. she's another volunteer, not guatemalan. so that's all i will say about the relationship side of things, trying to keep this focused on the corp.
